A native Texan originally from Kerrville, Dan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance & Economics from Texas Tech University. With more than 25 years in the financial industry and has earned the prestigious Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM designation from The College for Financial Planning®. He started his Financial Consulting career 23 years ago with Merrill Lynch where he earned his Series 7, 66 and Group I Life & Health licenses.
Dan’s practice has been built around putting the needs of those he serves first with an educational methodology and investment philosophy approach. He measures his professional success by the success of each client.
Dan has been granted the prestige of Registered Financial Consultant, by the Board of Directors of the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants, Inc. He has completed the extended training courses required for chartered wealth manager, through the American Academy of Financial Management.
Dan has consulted Board of Directors of financial institutions ranging in sizes of $35 million to over $7 billion on the benefits of building non-deposit fee income programs. In 2007, Dan joined NEXT Financial Group, Inc. as a Business Development Officer/ Registered Financial Consultant, where he experienced success in growing his business.
Although Dan offers securities and investment advisory services through LPL Financial, he has the true independence of flexibility to put his clients first at all times.
Dan and his wife Liz live in New Braunfels, TX with their two daughters, Rainie and Rylee. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing and other outdoor activities.
